Baking was not always my strong point but I do from time to time give it ago, here is a yummy christmas treat, so easy to make for any special guest coming around for parties or for the little ones. This recipe is quick, fun and easy. everyone will love. For me, any cake  would do but a simple cupcake would be better. I promise you will not regret it!

200 grams - unsalted butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup brown sugar

3 eggs

2 ½ cups of self-rising flour, sifted

½  cup of milk

1 pack of 24 gold cupcake cases

Method:

Step 1 Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced oven. Line muffin or mini-muffin pans with paper cases. 

Step 2 Using an electric mixer, beat butter, vanilla and sugar in a small bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition (mixture will separate at this stage). Transfer mixture to a large bowl. Stir in half the flour. Stir in half the milk. Repeat with remaining flour and milk until combined.

Step 3 Scoop mixture with ice cream scooper, 1 scoop fits in 1 cupcake case perfectly.

Step 4 Bake for 15 to 17 minutes. If using smaller cupcake cases. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.

Step 5 Stand cakes in pans for 2 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Step 2 Bag into piping bag for cake decoration. Now decorate however you want.

My new year has begun at the end of 2011. When I was graduating from high school, a new life will soon begin as I started to plan the next chapter of my life, college. What will happen to me now from this point, for me it was such an awesome day. No more school is no more. I'm an adult I can do anything. That whole week went by like a flash it was so fast. All I did is sleep, eat and watch television all day. I began to do nothing and nothing, so I starting to write what I wanted to do in life, am I going to college, work, stay at home forever? I did not know the next chapter of my life. It stayed like that for while and lots of other things happened..........

Late 2012, somehow I did not know I decided that I will go to college, choices were interior design, graphic design or architecture.

It was Interior Design!

Everyone thought that interior design was all about designing and decorating the interior of a home.

It was nothing like that, nothing like you thought all, lecturer/ teacher were great, only some. First semester started, it began with an afternoon class from 5 to 9pm there were 10 to 15 people in the class, all of my classmates were older than me, only a couple are my age. We began learning about drawing and doing things with hands. It all felt like it had nothing to do with interior design, more like an art class after school for children..........

From time to time I think a good design is what you think it looks pretty and stylish, but on paper and according to the teachers, it was wrong, It was more of design, function, ergonomic, construction and all the shitty things that need a home t function and livable by people.

But all things teachers says are true, but I feel that we are learning things that we may never use in life ever again, just like subject in high school, like history, chemistry and all other boring subject that still now I have never used it..........

All these interiors are many of my favourite works done by great designers, simple but yet elegant and functional in many ways. Teachers might dislike all these designs because they all have their own thoughts about it and that's fine. Who cares about them in the end once I graduate it's all about me and my future client who will like or dislike my design..........

Another love one in my life has past away this day. Time has passed quick. never regret what you do. Always do your best in everyday life. Live that life that you always wanted. Never forget the love one you left your. Always remember them, everyone who ever passed aways from your life. 

People always say, "happy wife is a happy life". But what if your not happy, when you are happy life becomes more interesting than it is. I use to find life boring and depressing. A thought came to my mind, that life is really short and I can no longer live and think of life the way I used to. Be kind and have courage, be the person you really want to be, luck can never run out, only if you never give on life yet. Time will fly faster than lightning, but lighting comes only when there's a storm. But you only have this one life, as Dr, Seuss have quoted: 

“Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened” 
 Dr. Seuss

Just like a life that is in the palm of your hand, expressing your sadness when someone passed away is grief. But your love one would want you to carry on with life. Some soul may still be lost and wonder nearby, but they are nearby because they still love you and want to always be with you. They soul have left the body and the body is lifeless, but that doesn't mean that you are lifeless too. What many people and wonderful people have taught me is that whatever happened to you this life, is what you did in the past life.
